THE INFLUENCE OF DISCIPLINE STYLE AND WORK ENVIRONMENT ON THE EMPLOYEES PERFORMANCE OF HOTEL RANAH BUNDO PADANG

Abstract
This study aims to (1) determine which indicators are the most dominant in work discipline, work environment, and employee performance at Ranah Bundo Padang hotel; (2) find out whether work discipline and work environment affect the performance of employees of Hotel RanahBundo Padang, either partially or simultaneously. The population is 45 and the sample used is 45 employees of Hotel RanahBundo Padang. The data of this study used primary data obtained from the results of distributing questionnaires. Data analysis used multiple linear regression analysis, t test, F test. The results of regression and hypothesis testing show that 1) The dominant indicator of work discipline is an indicator of the level of alertness. The dominant indicator of the work environment is the indicator of lighting in the workspace. While the dominant indicator of employee performance is an indicator of work quality. 2) Partially, work discipline has a significant positive effect on employee performance. Simultaneously, discipline and work environment have a significant positive effect on employee performance at Hotel RanahBundo Padang. The magnitude of the contribution of the influence of discipline and work environment on the performance of employees of Hotel RanahBundo Padang is 88.2% while the remaining 11.8% is influenced by other variables not examined.
