Abstract

This study aims to analyze and determine: 1) Which indicators are the most dominant of
education, training and performance in Civil Servants Satpol PP Padang City. 2) The effect of
education partially on the performance of the Civil Servants of the Padang City Satpol PP. 3)
The partial effect of training on the performance of the Civil Servants of the Padang City Satpol
PP. 4) The influence of education and training simultaneously on the performance of Civil
Servants Satpol PP Padang City. The population in this study amounted to 80 people and a
sample of 80 people using the total sampling method. The analysis in this study uses descriptive
analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the research and hypothesis
testing obtained: 1) The most dominant indicator of education is formal education with an
average value of 4.32 and a TCR of 86.38%, the most dominant training indicator is short-term
education with an average value of 4, 49 and TCR of 89.81%, the most dominant performance
indicator is Relations between Employees with an average value of 4.59 and TCR of 91.88%. 2)
Education partially has a positive and significant effect on the performance of the Padang City
Satpol PP Civil Servants. 3) The training partially has a positive and significant effect on the
performance of the Padang City Satpol PP Civil Servants. 4) Education and training
simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on the performance of the Padang City
Satpol PP Civil Servants. The result of the Coefficient of Determination Analysis (R2)is 0.637,
meaning that the contribution of Education and Training to Performance in Civil Servants of
the Padang City Satpol PP is 63.7%, while 36.3% is influenced by other variables not examined
in this study.
