Abstract

This study aims to analyze and determine: 1) Which indicators are the most dominant of the variables of financial compensation and work performance of employees in the HRD and Public Facilities division at PT Semen Padang. 2) The effect of financial compensation on the work performance of employees in the HRD and Public Facilities division at PT Semen Padang. The population in this study amounted to 65 people and a sample of 65 people with the total sampling method. The analysis in this study uses descriptive analysis and simple linear regression analysis. The results of this research and hypothesis testing are obtained: 1) The most dominant Financial Compensation indicator is Insurance with an average value of 4.06 with a TCR of 81.23% and the most dominant indicator of Work Performance is Quality of Work with an average value of 4 .35 with a TCR of 87.02%. 2). Financial Compensation has a positive and significant effect on the work performance of employees in the HR and Public Facilities section at PT Semen Padang. The result of the Analysis of the Coefficient of Determination (R2) is 0.139, meaning that the contribution of Financial Compensation to the Work Performance of employees in the HR and Public Facilities section at PT Semen Padang is 13.9%, while 86.1% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.
