Abstract

This study aims to determine whether Sales Growth, Leverage and Liquidity have an effect on Financial Distress in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesian stock exchange in 2016-2019 either partially or simultaneously. The type of data used in this study is quantitative data sourced from the financial statements of companies listed on the Indonesian stock exchange. The source of data in this study is secondary data that can be downloaded from the Indonesian stock exchange website. Indonesia stock exchange as many as 144 companies. The sampling in this study is a purposive sampling technique obtained a sample of 12 companies that have met the requirements of the criteria. The data analysis method used in this study is logistic regression analysis and the hypothesis testing used in this study is the wald test and omnibust test. The results of this study indicate that partially Sales Growth has no significant effect on Financial Distress, this is indicated by a significant wald value of 0.615 which is greater than 0.05, Leverage has a significant effect on Financial Distress, this is indicated by a significant wald value of 0.023 which smaller than 0.05 and liquidity has no significant effect on financial distress, this is indicated by a significant wald value of 0.726 which is greater than 0.05. Meanwhile, simultaneously Sales Growth, Leverage and Liquidity have no significant effect on Financial Distress. indicated by the significant value of the model of 0.471 which is greater than 0.05.
