THE EFFECT OF WORK STRESS AND WORK CONFLICT ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE AT MOCO PADANG EDUCATION CENTER

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work stress and work conflict on employee performance at the MOCO Padang Education Center. The data collection method used in this research is by using field research and library research. The data of this study used primary data obtained from the results of distributing questionnaires. The sample used in this study were 40 employees of the MOCO Padang Education Center. Data analysis used multiple linear regression analysis, t test, f test and coefficient of determination. The results of the regression and hypothesis testing show that (1) Work stress partially has no positive and significant effect on employee performance at the MOCO Padang Education Center. (2) Partial work conflict has no positive and significant effect on employee performance at the MOCO Padang Education Center. (3) Work stress and work conflict simultaneously or together have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the MOCO Padang Education Center. The magnitude of the contribution of the influence of work stress and work conflict on employee performance at the MOCO Padang Education Center is 11.6% while the remaining 88.2% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study,
